The JAX Magna-Plate 1100 is formulated to provide superior water resistance, excellent anti-wear and EP performance, and protection against corrosion caused by salt water, salt spray and atmospheric chemicals. Jax Magna-Plate 1100 meets the requirements of the NSF H2 standard for use in food and beverage processing environments.

• Exceptional mechanical stability - It shows no signs of shear disaggregation in the roll stability test (ASTM D1831), even in a modified version with prolonged high temperature to increase the severity of the test;
• Unsurpassed anti-wear performance and under EP - Formulated with selected base materials and additives to exhibit unsurpassed anti-wear and under EP characteristics. These characteristics are illustrated by values of 60 pounds or more obtained in the Timken Assay (ASTM D2509) and results of more than 60 kgf with a weld point of 500 kgf in the EP 4-ball test (ASTM D2596). Performance in the 4-ball wear test (ASTM D2266) is equally impressive, with characteristic wear scars less than 0.40 mm;
• Protects against oxidation and corrosion - The JAX Magna-Plate 1100 calcium sulfonate thickener system provides excellent natural protection against oxidation and corrosion, providing proven performance in over 4000 hours in the severe salt spray test (ASTM B117) and easily passes the standard preventive properties test against corrosion (ASTM D1743);
• Greater water resistance - Offers greater protection against severe water cleaning processes and chemical contamination. JAX Magna-Plate 1100 is one of the most water resistant greases on the market, with weight loss results of 2.75% in the Water Resistance Test (ASTM D1264);
