JAX Halo-Guard FG is manufactured with an advanced and unique calcium sulfonate complex-based thickener and a carefully selected additive package to provide the best multipurpose food grade grease on the market. • Excellent mechanical stability - exhibits little change in cone penetration test (ASTM D 217) and consistency after 100,000 cycles. There is no evidence of degradation of shear disintegration in the roll stability test (ASTM D 1831), not even in a high-temperature extended version and modified to increase the severity of the test;
• Unsurpassed EP and anti-wear performance - Unsurpassed EP and anti-wear characteristics, as illustrated by the values of 27.2 Kg or more in the Timken Test (ASTM D 2509) and the wear rate per load above 60 kgf with 500 kgf weld point in the 4-ball EP Test ( ASTM D 2596). Performance in the 4-Ball Wear Test (ASTM D 2266) is equally impressive, with typical wear abrasions of less than 0.40 mm;
• Protects against rust and corrosion - easily passed the standard test of corrosion preventive properties (ASTM D 1743). It was approved in a severe salt spray test (ASTM B 117) with performance in excess of 300 hours, something few food grade greases from any other technology are able to achieve.
